Manchester Airport Anti-Slip Markings

Project Overview

We were presented with a unique challenge at the Manchester Airport Bus Depot: a floor that became a safety hazard when wet. This issue was not only a risk to the staff but also to the operational efficiency of the airport's bus depot. Utilising our expertise in anti-slip flooring solutions, we applied a specially formulated anti-slip concrete to the depot's floor. This improved the surface's traction, significantly reducing the risk of accidents, even in wet conditions. In addition to enhancing safety, we took the opportunity to boost the depot's operational efficiency and aesthetics. We integrated coloured walkways within the new flooring design, serving as intuitive guides for foot traffic while also freshening up the overall look of the depot.
